About

Work Map lets you see what kinds of work people really do around you.

Why would you want this?

• If you know where you want to live, this can help you figure out what to do there.
• If you know what you want to do, this can help you figure out where to live.
• For everyone, this can help you find paths you didn't know about before.

Is this restricted to only some industries or companies?

No, I'd like to list every kind of work being done.

Is this restricted to only some areas?

No, I'd like to include everywhere.

Why did I build this?

This is the website I wished I had when I was choosing a major in college, when I was graduating from college, and when I was moving across the country to be closer to my family.

I had to make decisions with a lot of uncertainty. It all turned out well for me, but it would have been a lot easier if I'd known more about what was out there.

I made this site so these big life decisions would be a little bit easier for others than they were for me.

Where can you send feedback?
